Good afternoon Clark Family.
I'm not sure where to start. This
week was great and lame at the same time. The last couple of days I
have been super tired. That's not to say it wasn't a great week in many
ways.
First of all we have been teaching a Guy Named Juan Sergio,
he is really excited right now and is progressing a lot. He came to
church yesterday and has a baptism date for the 10th of November. So
that is awesome. He was the only one at church but we have a lot of
people who couldn't go this week. We are going to put in everything we
have to get them all there. Wow this week went by so fast, like laser
fast. The best day was Tuesday, Juan accepted a baptism date and that
night we had a lesson with Hugo that went really well cause we brought
the ward missionaries and they did amazing. They helped us so much, I
learned a lot, it is so important to be sincere and poor out your heart
when you teach.
Also Monday I completed 11 months. So for all you people that keep telling me I have a year on my mission, not true , I just barely turned 11 months old. So just take it easy. nah jk. I'm just in denial. Wednesday we had splits I stayed in my area and we had a really good day. There are some ward members that are figuring out this new work form, others not so much, but they are going to. Thursday was kinda lame. Friday I had to go to immigration with Elder cayetano and we were there forever. Lately there has been a ton of problems with visas and so it seems like that is where most of my time goes. This week we will also have to go to immigration, fun stuff. Also this week we will have zone conference!! I so pumped, if you could go to a President Walker zone conference you would be blown away. They're just so legit. So this week will not be great as far as numbers goes for our area but we do have some good appointments. A lot of things in process, just time, hard work and patience and will be baptizing left and right here! And the good thing is I will be here for a while so I will see all of it.

My favorite thing I studied this week was chapter 4 of preach my
gospel. The section on conversion from the Holy Ghost. I learned so much
. What you have to do is just create an environment and ask the right
questions and testify so that the spirit can testify that its true. Then
they really feel the spirit and are converted when they act and fulfill
their commitments. Action is what does it.
Saturday and Sunday I was just really tired. we walked a ton and
there were a lot of people not home. But it will all pay off the
following weeks.
Oh something random. I watched a video on
temples by the church, and then on it showed brother Brady, in our
chapel! right in front of the bishops office. Just something random.
but yeah life in Monterrey is great. The weather is crazy, it was
cold and rainy part of the week then on Thursday it was like 98.
I don't know what else there is to say. Even when things are hard you have to love life.
I have a ton to do today, a ton, so ill talk to you guys later.
I'm
glad everything is going good. that's awesome that Amanda and Brian
went to Vegas to campaign for Romney. Elder Bennett is a Huge politics
fan so him and I are dying here in anticipation.
Thanks family for being amazing.
Elder Clark
