Okay I don't have vary much time to write today because we have a ton to do. I don't know which change to mention first.
I'll start with the transfers that were yesterday. I am leaving
Pedregal I am now the new secretary of materials. aka I'm going to the
offices. Yeah I couldn't believe it and still cant. I'm not sure what to
think still. i am excited and am looking forward to it a ton. it also a
blessing and few ways. 1st my knees, probably on of the reasons I'm
going there, they bugged me all week so i called sister walker cause
that's what you have to do, just to let her know , and i mentioned it to
president in my letter to him last week but never as a big deal. who
knows and i don't have time to write more details. 2nd the heat. I wont
be in the heat as much and July 20th to august 30th is called the
canicula where it the heat is crazy. I feel like the lord has answered
my prayers and this is his will. I have never imagined myself in the
offices but I'm excited.
The second and biggest change that has changed almost everything is
that our mission is one of 5 missions in Mexico doing a pilot program,
orders from elder Bednar and presidency of area of Mexico. we will no
longer knock on doors, contact in the streets, stores, talk to anyone or
nothing. will rely totally on references from the members. We will work
full time with members and less actives and teach the references they
give us, if they don't give us, we wont baptize or teach. It's something
that has changed my whole mission but I know it is inspired. Sooo
crazy. its not something new, it has always been the work of the members
but now it really is legit, they have to work or nothing will happen.
This week was great. We had the baptism of Jesus Saturday, the
spirit was so strong. I love being a missionary. Thanks for all your
prayers, I know for a fact that they are answered and were answered. I
am so grateful for the hand of the lord in my life. I know that the
Church is true.
I know that the Savior lives, I trust in him 100 percent!
Sorry I can't comment to much on the emails. I'm glad everything is
good. Happy 4th of July, I forgot totally about the date. yesterday was
the election of the president of Mexico, its really interesting to see
how they do everything.
Love, Elder Clark
