Right now I'm just tired
and exhausted from the transfers, this one wasn't as bad as others, less
hectic but of course there were some crazy moments. On Monday 12 new
missionaries arrived, including 2 Americans. We got to each take 2 of
them to work with us, it was really cool. I took my two to the best
members houses and a lesson with Juan. It was such a cool experience,
greenie faith works wonders! The 2 that went with Elder Bennett in the
other half, found and set a baptism date. Also on Monday I had to go to
the airport to pay for some visa stuff and ran into an ex missionary
from Utah, I sent a note with him for you guys. Anyway during the week I
can´t really remember what happen, sorry, we were really busy in the
offices. Oh and what took up a big chunk of our week was moving houses.
we moved from our old box with doors to a pretty big nice house. We are
going to live with 2 other elders, but it was really stressful moving
and getting everything ready for the cambios, Elder Bennett was supper
stressed. me, I don´t let it get to me.
Saturday we ate Wendy's for lunch and ate at Yogoteca aka frozen
yogurt, as Secretaries and assistants, it was so good! Also this week
the church made everyone in the mission get flew shots,so we went to a
ghetto looking hospital and got it for free, it was funny.
Sunday was good and bad. Bad because Juan didn't go to church so he
has to wait another week to be baptized. Good because we had a lot of
less actives come, well not a lot but some, and some is a lot. It was
fast and sacrament meeting which was really good. Luci bore her
testimony, it was soooo powerful! maybe the powerful thing I've seen so
far in this ward. I can´t describe it but I don´t think anything has
made more me happy in my life than to see someone receive the gospel,
and thriving with it. I don´t understand why people don't see it for
what it is. Sometimes i just want to throw a bucket of ice cold water
on the less actives and the actives members so they can wake up. and all
the people that don´t want to listen. Alright I'm done
Tuesday I went on splits with the zone leaders, I really like it
and learned a ton. In my personal study on Tuesday I felt like elder
Bennett was going to stay. I felt like whatever the lords will was I was
okay with it. The Lord's will is so much better than my will. Then when
we found out I was really calm, I shouldn't have been but i just felt
calm.
Well I don't have much time. Mom I loved all the pictures, everyone is looking great!
Mom if you haven't already sent the package, I would like another pair of pants. size 34. Thanks a ton!!!!
love you all. Congrats again.
Elder Clark
PS that is so cool that the guy from the airport went to the house!! He's a really good guy.
