Hey everyone/mom.
I don't
have very much time to write but I will do my best. This week has been
crazy / amazing. When I first got here I was a little overwhelmed but my
first full day was awesome. My prayers were answered and ever since
things have been amazing. I'm not exactly sure what to say, but I love it
here. The spirit I have felt has been unreal. Our days are full and
long but they are starting to go by fast as time goes on. I have such a
sweet district, I lucked out. Everyone is way cool and has a strong
testimony. We don't have any sisters which is good and bad. We easily get
off task, which is really hard because I am trying to make the most of
my study time. There are 10 of us and we do everything together. We
pretty much spend our whole day in our class room which is really small,
we live in it. We have lived Spanish for the last 5 days except for
yesterday which was Sunday. I am learning a ton ( of Spanish ) we had to
teach our first investigator on Friday.... all in Spanish, 30 minute
lessons where we don't understand what she says and then just say the
words we know. We have met twice with her and meet with her today again (
fake investigator but feels 100% like a real one) but I am
understanding more and more. I can bear my testimony and we say all our
prayers in Spanish. I know I can learn it if i am humble, but i will
have to learn it, it doesn't just come like i thought it did. my
companion is elder Bowman. i like him and we get along well. we have 2
really cool roommates. but to sum it up i like the mtc a lot. it is very
hard, very. the devotional yesterday was so good and we went to the
temple this morning. I know that the savior really lives and that this
gospel is true. I know it on a whole new level. it is unreal. i know my
purpose is to invite others to come unto Christ. i just feel so good.
ill keep you updated more cause I'm out of time, if I remember something
ill write it to you later tonight in the mail. you guys are the best
family in the world, no question. I know that the savior lives. cant
wait to get to Mexico. Just know that i am happy and loving the spirit.
Love,
Elder Clark
