I heard it snowed a ton there this
week also. Here it has been really cold all week. Which I really like
for working and stuff but our house gets so cold, it is like camping
every night. It feels a lot like Christmas already because of the
weather. in Monterrey it is hot almost the whole year than it just gets
really cold. There are only a few weeks of between weather.
The week was kinda of like the weather. kinda gloomy. Well actually
it was good and we had some really good things happen but also some not
so good. So we meet with Juan a lot this week getting him ready for his
baptism, he has changed so much. He read just this week like 11
chapters which is so impressive because he can´t see very well and he
was so excited all week. His interview went great and we meet with him
on Friday and he was all ready for the baptism Sunday after church.
Saturday we called him and he didn't answer which was weird cause he
always answers but he had told us he couldn't be baptized on Saturday
cause he had to go to his niece´s birthday party. Sunday morning he
didn't answer either and didn't show up to church so during Sunday
School we went looking for him and his car wasn't at his house. Then he
never showed up. We had a fount filled with hot water and people ready
and investigators from other missionaries. It was really sad and
disappointing. It just doesn't make sense because he was so determined
and ready. We don´t know what happened but we will find out. I hope he
will get baptized this week or the next because he is ready, unless he
did something bad.
This week in the offices I have had like half the mission call me
and say they want to change houses. It's alright though, just lots of
work.
This week went by so fast, so fast. I'm not sure what else happened this week.
Okay yes I turned one year old on Friday. It feels really weird,
and I know that its going to fly. The last 6 months flew by for sure.
Something interesting is that all the transfers dates will be bumped up a
week. so I will get home on like Nov. 13th, instead of Nov. 20th. So
I'm just getting really old really fast, but I'm still focused and I'm
excited for the next year. I'm going to go all out!
I'm so excited for Michelle!!! its going to be amazing. what kinda
time frame are we talking here?. I will send in my guess in next week so
that there is time to receive the revelation. Unless there isn't time.
Mom is still haven't got the package, I'm sure I will this week. OH so
Elder Bennett's mom has emailed you because she has a box that I sent
with a lady to Utah. So please talk with her so that you can get the
box. I still want all the clothes that is in the box.
Well for Christmas I would maybe like a sweater or two, for the cold.
My
thoughts and prayers are towards grandpa. Please send my love and my
appreciation for everything and I'll see him when I get home. He has had
such a big impact on my life.
I cant tell you how much all of you ( my family) have inspired me on my mission and in my life.
