alright well i have a lot to write about this week. what a great week.
so last week at the start i was feeling down and pretty overwhelmed. i
prayed a lot and thought a lot and prayed a lot. i don't know how to
really explain it well, but this week i felt this extra strength and
extra joy and extra desire to share what we have. it felt like i was on
walking sidewalk, i still had to walk but there was extra help. it was
awesome. i am so grateful. i know the lords strength is so real and
powerful.  anyway so elder Cardenas and i worked pretty dang hard and
it paid  off. we founds some really good people and had a good turn
out for church. a few of the members brought friends to church who are
interested. we did have some really disappointing things happen but I'm
not gonna mention them.

one really cool thing from this week was that we had intercambios.. umm
splits. and i had to stay in our area and elder Cardenas left. so
everything was up to me for a day Wednesday. i was me and this other
elder who didn't know the area or any of the people. it was super
intense i prayed a ton for help. and we actually had a really good
day, but i still have a long ways to go to be ready for when elder
Cardenas leaves, in like 3 weeks.. oh man, oh well.
another highlight of the week was the 16th, my 4 month mission birthday
or anniversery its really funny, the day of the month you arrived is a
big deal. anyway elder Sanchez's was the 11th elder Haynes was the 15th ,
mine the 16th and elder Cardenas the 22. so we decided to celebrate
them all on the 16 cause there funny, we bought tortias and drinks and
had a mini party, i have pictures.

all in all i am starting to feel more comfortable, my Spanish is
getting better especially in the lessons. elder Cardenas has helped me
a ton. pres walker sent every9on a email today calling for more
dedication and put up some numbers of excellent that are pretty dang
high like 140 contacts per week and 5 baptism dates, but were gonna do
our best and it made really excited. i have a testimony of this work
and the lords plan for us. I'm supper excited for general conference,
you have no idea.

i am learning a ton. things are tough but its good tough.
thanks so much for the emails again. i am excited to see the city
creek mall. dad thanks for the byu update. mom thanks for you love. i
think you can send one more package to Texas and then the rest to
Monterrey. will you send a small black English hymn book, and if its
not too big a teachings of the prophet Joseph Smith, not the presidents
of the church one, the cool one, if its not to big. give a shout out
to cade and matt for there calls, its all so cool. gotta love Spanish.
