hello family.

I'm glad that everyone is home and doing good. I'm glad that mom Jan and Michelle had a good time. it was really cool to read Danny's email really fast, thanks for forwarding it.

well this week wasn't exactly like last week but it was still a good week. it was a little crazy for a couple of reasons.

first of all we moved houses. its now just elder montejano and i in a house. this house is actually in our area ( we don't have to walk 30 minuets just to get to our area ) it is a huge blessing and now we wont loose as much time. also the house has a washer and is really close to were we shop and email. needless to say we are super happy. however it was crazy moving and took up more time than we thought it would.

another blessing was that this week was not as hot, it rained a lot which i loved, the weather here is crazy.

something i tried to work on or improve was not hesitating to talk with someone. i have no problem talking with people and contacting, but i sometimes i hesitate and think too much. i have been praying for help and the lord is helping me. I'm super grateful for prayer.

sometimes i am strait up exhausted but the lord really does help me to keep going. there really is a strength that is not mine.

yesterday in church i gave a talk which went really good, it was about the book of Mormon. i know the book of Mormon is true. i know all of this is true.

 

I am so excited for this Saturday, we have a baptism. it is the baptism of Jesus, that 17 year i told you about. he is such a smart kid, he is so happy right now. this week we mostly  taught him, so he can be baptized Saturday. oh and his sister accepted a baptism date, she is the girl version of her brother, if that's not weird to say. in the since that she is really smart and super prepared. Jesus will probably baptize her in like 3 or 4 weeks, cool huh. also that 13 year old Lisa girl i told you about invited 4 of her friends to to church yesterday! there all in the primary but over 9 years old. there gonna invite more next week too, its pretty cool, the ward is pretty happy us right now.  also we had a super powerful lesson with somebody named Patricia, we were teaching her outside and she was understanding everything and asking questions. then it started to rain. elder montejano told me he said a prayer that it wouldn't rain for 5 more minutes so we could finish. and it didn't, we finished and it rained as soon as we finished. elder montejano said after , why didn't i ask for 10 minutes haha.

we are teaching someone named veronica and she is really good. we got to her house Tuesday and she told us... look, i don't think i can listen to you guys anymore, I'm going to be busy and stuff.... ( it was the classical... i have christian friends that said bad stuff about you guys). so we asked her question to get her to tell us that indeed her friends told her that we don't believe in god the same and that to book of Mormon doesn't talk about Jesus Christ or god. so elder montejano pulled out his book of Mormon and showed her how he had highlighted every time god, and Jesus Christ are mentioned. it was fully of highlights, she kinda said ohh.. and then we explained really good what the book of Mormon is and read a little bit. we came back Saturday and she had read and liked it a lot. ill keep you posted on everything

 

the craziest thing and coolest think that happened this week was this. we were walking home Tuesday night to our old house, we were waking on the side of the road next to a field and all the sudden elder montejano started freaking out, i turned around and saw a giant snake in out path. i mean huge, I'm not exaggerating. turns our that elder montejano was walking was about to step down and saw it, he would have stepped right on it, he barley didn't and has no idea how he didn't, just that he somehow didn't put his foot down. The lord protected him from stepping on a giant snake that was hidden in the dark. it was the craziest thing ever.

 so yeah what a week right

also if you could pray for me that i wont have problems with my knees, they have started to bug me this week, i would really appreciate it.

i know that the gospel is true. thanks for the emails.

oh mom can you send me another copy of my patriritcal blessing, don't know where mine went. and also some more socks, don't have to be nice or the kind from men's warehouse, just socks.
