well Monday again, all i could think of yesterday was of how dad
was being made bishop, yep fam iv know longer than all of you..i think.
the ward is gonna be so blessed. but also i thought of bishop
fredrickson, i love him so much and super gratefully that he was my
bishop. dad sorry about your ipad. congrats to Jan and Michelle!!!
sounds like everything is good.
well i guess I'll start with elder bednar. got to listen to him for
3 hours and his way of teaching was soo legit. he gave us talks to
study 3 weeks ago and so he asked us questions about what we learned and
let us ask questions. it was unreal. the spirit was at a different
level and i learned so much, like to much. ill have to tell you details
later, maybe when i call cause it was so good, he has a gift. but his
main message was that the holy ghost is the teacher, i know that is
true. i would recommend reading / ask in faith and /seek learning by
faith / from elder bednar the rest of the week was pretty normal, its not easy to have
lessons or find new investigators here but were working really hard and
I'm lovin it, my Spanish has improved but its still hard. i gave a talk
on Sunday which was not easy but it went pretty well, then i had to
teach the lesson in gospel principles so I'm getting the practice. we
have to have 20 contacts a day which sometimes is easy and sometimes so
my question for like Jason, Amanda Brian, Wes is what kind of contacts
work better, or what is the best way to contact? I'm starting to feel at
home here, its starting to get hot but its alright, mom don't worry
about my health I'll be alright, I've got a plan. I'm really happy, i
feel so blessed to be here, my testimony is growing so much.
we had another baptism Saturday, his name is edwardo, hes way
cool, he had read the whole book of Mormon before elder montejano and
his comp started to teach him. we teaching his family tomorrow that
will be good.
mom i wont be able Skye when i call. i think its too hot to have camel backs here.. what else.
i
don't have more time to write. love you all a ton. i really like it
here, i know that Joseph smith was a prophet and that this Church is
true.
