Things
are good here, no complaints. its weird to have been gone for the
family reunion. Hope it was fun and the whole Clark family is good.
This week was interesting. I tried to learn the
area pretty good this week, but I still don't know it but whatever, I'll
keep working on it.
In the offices things are good, there is
always tons to do, especially right now cause tons of elders are moving
houses and have to buy stuff for there houses. I never thought the
offices would be so busy. I just gotta get used to it and i am getting
used to it right now and in like a month I'll be nice and settled into
my new position and all will be good.
One of the highlights this week was Monday, our
activity with president, I loved every minute of it. We went to the
mission house, had a meeting, then we went to this American Mexican food
place, it was so good, i had fajitas because they are American by the
way, also burritos is totally not Mexican food. Then we went bowling and
of course i loved it. It was just so good to do something fun and relax
and be spoiled for a second in time, oh and we wore normal clothes the
whole day, which was really weird cause we never wear normal clothes.
The rest of the week was a blur, days pass by so fast its crazy.
Elder Cameron and I are almost used to our new house, except we didn't
have a fridge until yesterday, so we're on the no fridge diet the whole
week. It's a great diet. Ha but I stayed the same weight, I think I've
hit the bottom of my weight loss ha, I am a solid 170, but its all good.
This week as far as investigators go was pretty
good. Tadeo is still really excited, we had a really good lesson with
him, plan of salvation. his date is the 11th so well keep working and
praying that all goes well. The family that gave us him as a referral
are supper excited about preaching the gospel right now, they are both
25 and have a kid and were less active a little ago but not anymore and
are buying a volleyball net for the church so they can invite more
people to our ward night that we have every week. We eat with them and
they are cooking us carne asada, its cool to see the work excite people,
other families are less excited but in all things are going good. We
are gonna have to teach them how to preach the gospel, they just don't
know how it works, but there willing and that's what matters. speaking
of church I gave a talk yesterday, they told me a little before and my
topic was the first vision. so what they got was lesson one ha, it was
an easy talk.
I talked to elder motejano and an 16 year old that
we found the week before I left is getting baptized soon. and also
Monica the sister of Jesus who we baptized my last week there is getting
baptized in week, it made me so happy the hear that. made my week. I
have been blessed to see success so far and people come unto the truth. I
know all this is true. I see good things happening in this area.
I learn so much every week, I love studying. things are really
busy here, a little stressful but its all worth it. I am having a ton of
fun too here.
mom I will prob get the package this week,
it's my job ha to pick up the packages so ill get it fast, we just have
had no time to go pick up the packages.
love you fam.
