This
was a very good week, the highlight of the week was zone conference on
Friday. Every zone conference is super good and spiritual here but this
one was at a whole new level. The presentation by the zone leaders was
actually really really good helped us a ton, they are usually lame. But
anyway president talked to us about obedience, he got really serious and
said ¨elders and sisters... satan is not happy with this mission, we
have found the way to succeed and he doesn't like it and is trying to
interfere.¨ He said that the Lord has spoken to our mission in specific,
with this change of how to work, it was so cool. It made me think and
it is so true, I have felt a lot more temptation this transfer, and
apparently the obedience and being good is going down fast in the
mission. I know that this change is inspired of god, it came from Elder
Bednar a prophet of god. Our numbers are already going up, and they are
really numbers, not fluffed up. pres then trained us on what we should
be doing now, finally. 1. less actives, we are teaching less actives the
lessons all the way through and asking for references. 2. active
members, we are having them pray. (don't have time to explain the rest).
3 leaders in the ward. I'll explain more latter. and of course teach
our investigators. Speaking of investigators, last week we got a
reference from a member, it is her 3 nephews and her less active sister,
they have come to Church to week in a row and the 3 boys ages 15, 13,
and 12 all have baptism dates for the 25th. things are really good.
I am getting ready for the change, starting today I am the
financial secretary, and Elder Cameron the materials, so he will help me
be it for a week, then he will be gone, so hopefully I learn well
enough this week, its gonna be really hard fam but it will be good. I'm a
little worried about the area, I don't know it very well but I'll
figure it out, it will be interesting to see who will be my next comp
and stuff, Sunday night I'll know.
Yesterday in church we had an amazing testimony, for how small this
ward is it is powerful, I think I will see a lot of success in my time
here in this ward. Their just kinda set in their active member ways but
they have already helped us a ton. I think this teaching the less
actives is going to work super well, we already had one lady that we had
been visiting come yesterday.
I know if I stay humble and rely on the lord he will help with everything.
I had an awesome week personally, a lot of spiritual experiences.
Right now its just the calm before the storm getting ready for Elder Cameron to leave.
OH MOM i got the package, it was such a good day ha.
as time goes on in the mission the more happy I am to get packages and
letters. I love the ties so much, was my favorite part, and the imported
candy, and of course the Europe pictures, they just strait up blew my
mind.
I am doing great! Life is good, I miss you guys a ton. I miss the Olympics but its cool.
