As far as transfers go elder Bennett and I are staying the same. Elder
Allen one of the assistants and Elder Sorensen the Records secretary are
both leaving the office scene. it's sad I really like them. This is
going to be a crazy 2/3 days. Last transfer was just pure insanity, the
worst part is I have this thing called a ¨cut off day¨ where all the
money for the month has to be totally registered. It is the 25th, so I
cant spend money on the 24th or 25th ... Transfer days ha. but I'll
figure it out.
Alright so this week on ¨lessons learned from Luci¨ ( i could have a
blog). We had the ward missionaries teach her the first lesson again on
Sunday as part of the retention stuff. It was painful watching someone
else teach L1. It was interesting but that's not the point, before the
lesson she told us that this week she has felt this unreal amount of
happiness.she told us how she keep calling her friend during the week
and asking why she felt so good. she says she hasn't felt this good
since she was a little kid. I just had the biggest Grin on my face.
that's what makes everything worth it. There is nothing that makes a
testimony stronger and gets you more fired up than that. Nothing better
in this world. I feel so blessed to be apart of this work.
Not much more happen this week. we are pretty much out of
investigators, are were not really getting references, well we are, but
as many as we need, but were still working hard, it is the trial of
faith, it is critical that you don't get discouraged. I know that this
form of working is inspired.
This week there was so much to do in the offices for the transfers.
I'm getting faster but there is unlimited work. Keep up the prayers
they help me so much.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Amanda and Grandma. sounds like everyone had a great week.
Oh the coolest thing was that we went to ¨¨Parke Fundidora¨ that
amazing park I told you guys about a while ago, we took this boat ride
down a man made river to the center of the city. It is so amazing, we
went as a district and we had a blast. Then we came back and had an
amazing district meeting where the spirit was so strong.
I talked to the elder that is in Pedregal ¨my old area¨ and told
that on of the people elder montejano and I contacted got baptized and
wants to go on mission. He goes to everything apparently and is super
excited. I thought back and realized that we contacted him on Saturday
the last of contacting for the mission, the change was announced the
next day. He lives in a weird street that we had never been on before.
Our food fell through so we had to eat at the grocery store and he lives
right behind the grocery store. I remember it was blazing hot too. I
know that this is the lords work and guides us to prepared people if
were humble and worthy. Just a cool look back I had.
Gotta love iphone launch week. Keep up the amazing work dad. Thanks a ton for the emails Brain and Amanda.
Well I'm kinda out of time have a great week. love you all a ton
Elder Clark
