Oh hey. I hope I can type fast. There is not much time a lot to
say. This week was the best. It feels so good to be settled in. The days
are going by so fast and I've almost been here two weeks. I cant say
how much I love the spirit I've felt, but at the same time it is crazy
hard but I like it. I can feel myself changing a little bit, I'm getting
more focused everyday, slowly but surely, line upon line precept on
precept, that is probably my theme for my mission so far. Yeah we only
heard from 2 apostles of the Lord this week..... D. Todd Christofferson
and Russel M. Nelson. It has been one of the coolest things I've been a
part of. Elder Christofferson spoke Tuesday night, we got there really
early but didn't know who was speaking but we could feel it was someone
big. We started singing " I know my Redeemer Lives " ( my new favorite
hymn) right after we started singing he walked in and we all stood up.
It was one of the coolest things ever, everyone was standing and singing
with everything they had. He talked about how the apostles need our
help and how we are like them and have the same task in a way. He bore
his testimony saying " as one who knows....I know He lives " and " He is
involved personally in this work". My favorite thing is when our
leaders or other missionaries or in this case two apostles bare there
testimony. Elder Nelson talked about how the Lord will help us and do so
much of the work for us. He told the story of Russia opening up
( Amanda and Brain) it was a complete miracle, ask them to tell it.

Thanksgiving was actually really good! Well Elder Nelson spoke,
that was good but it was such a chill day with so many programs and the
spirit. the food was good ... and for the ten people who have asked
me..I like the food. It is not amazing but I like it and I'm gaining
weight... I hope. I'm playing basketball with some cool elders on of
which is playing at BYU Hawaii. I am having so much fun, I love my
district. the hardest thing by far is lessons. We've taught 5 lessons to
" investigators" all in Spanish, its the new program they started in
August. so Amanda, Brian, Jason, and Wes I don't wanna hear your first 2
weeks were hard, dad gets a pass because he spoke Finish and he had a
Wayne high education....jk jk jk jk. I've realized what everyone knew,
it is really hard to learn a language and leave your family, but it has
been unreal how much I have been blessed. We went to the temple today
and it was unreal. I know that God lives and the Savior lives. I am
learning so much about that. I love you guys so much!!! Thank you from
the bottom of my missionary heart for the packages.
Sorry mom didn't have time to answer your questions.
Thanks for the letters dad and Michelle
love,
Elder Clark
