Alright well I am here in Pedregal aka in Monterrey ( not like down town but still part of Monterrey). Monday night was my last night in Reynosa, it was so emotional weird. i went and said good bye to some of the ward members and investigators, I loved that area so much and the people. then Tuesday i got on a bus and headed to Monterrey. my new companion is Elder Montejano, I really like him, he has 20 months and really loves the scriptures and talks to everyone. When we started working Tuesday, I couldn't believe how different the area was ( how much more money there was, and how nice the streets were) this area is pretty legit, Monterrey is a beautiful city. People here are pretty different, contacting is super different, less people listen but that way we can talk with more people and find those who will progress. one of the first lessons we had was with the family Sanchez, my companion didn't really didn't tell me what the plan was or who they were so I got in there and they had hymn books and LDS triples and Jesus the christ ( that was read ) sitting on the table so they were members in my head. Then we started teaching them about tithing and I figured out they weren't members and there baptism was this Saturday, it was crazy. if you could define ¨´ golden family´´ it was them. president had us fast 3 weeks ago that all of us could find a complete family to teach and baptize, and they were who elder montejano and his old companion found. They were baptized Saturday, it was really cool, the spirit was so Strong at their service.

 

Ever thing is pretty different now, I have a ton more responsibility now I am trying to be super diligent and do all that I can, I know if I do all I can then the lord will bless us with people. I could write a million things. The members here are great. Like dad said in his email it is so easy to see the difference between members and non members and active and less active.

Thanks so much for the emails, I am supper excited that Mitt Romney won the republican nominee. it will help get the message out, even if its bad stuff people hear it's alright,

 

ELDER BEDNAR COMES TOMORROW. he will talk to us tomorrow at 9 am. we will get to shake his hand and rumor is he will eat with us. We are fasting today to prepare ourselves. i know he is an apostle of the Savior. His talk he gave in the MTC is one of the highlights of my life.

Last night there was a crazy storm, the most lightning I've ever seen and hail the size of golf balls and baseballs, not kidding, I have pictures. We jocked it was the sign that Elder Bednar and arrived!
